Bruriah Middle School Hosts STEAM Night

On Wednesday evening, Bruriah Middle School students hosted an incredible, interactive STEAM Night. The evening allowed students to present their group STEAM projects in a dynamic, interactive setting, which included live science demonstrations, a technology and engineering center with student video demonstrations, a beautiful cross-curricular student artwork display and Laffy Taffy linear equation lessons. Each grade presented exhibits on their own respective topics, with the sixth grade focusing on weather, the seventh grade focusing on chemistry and the eighth grade on human systems. This event also enabled students to develop their teamwork skills, as each of the groups have been collaborating for the last several weeks. The evening was a tremendous accomplishment for all of the students who worked so hard to make the event a success. Thank you to the science teachers, Chaya Ettie Stewart and Yocheved Yanofsky for guiding the students throughout all steps of the process and making the STEAM Night so great.
