Rabbi Daniel Feldman to Speak At Ohav Emeth April 1-2

Rabbi Daniel Feldman will be the scholar-in-residence at Congregation Ohav Emeth in Highland Park on Shabbat, April 1-2. He will be speaking on Friday night after dinner at the Bridge Turkish Grill Restaurant. Reservations can be made at https:// www.ohavemeth.org/event/dinner-with- rabbi-feldman.html. The cost of dinner is $60 per person.

Rabbi Feldman will also be speaking on Shabbat day at the 7:50 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Shacharit minyanim, as well as at Seudah Shlishit. Mincha will start at 6:30 p.m. that Shabbat.

Rabbi Feldman is a rosh yeshiva at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University, as well as an instructor in the Sy Syms School of Business and the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. He serves as the executive editor of the RIETS initiative of YU Press and is a prolific author. Rabbi Feldman is also the spiritual leader of Ohr Saadya of Teaneck, where he resides with his wife, Leah, and their children.

He is the author of “The Right and the Good: Halakhah and Human Relations” (Jason Aronson, 1999; expanded edition, Yashar Books, 2005); “Divine Footsteps: Chesed and the Jewish Soul” (Yeshiva University Press, 2008); “False Facts and True Rumors: Lashon Hara in Contemporary Culture” (YU Press/Maggid Books, 2015); as well as five volumes of Talmudic essays entitled “Binah BaSefarim,” which have been published with the approbation of R. Avraham Schapira, R. Ovadiah Yosef, R. Natan Gestetner, R. Zalman Nechemiah Goldberg, R. Asher Weiss and others.
