Cheder Yaldei Menachem doesn’t waste a second! With the Purim fun behind them, CYM children jumped right into an immersive Pesach curriculum. They began learning all about King Pharaoh and how the Jewish people lived in slavery while building pyramids in Egypt.
Classes explored pyramid structures and relative architecture while on the topic. Children experimented with floating and sinking, along with the story of Baby Moshe in the basket.
Many life skills revolve around the practical preparation of Pesach. Children were busily cleaning in preparation for this holiday. They learned how to sweep, wash, clean and cover their kitchens for Pesach. This week was packed with so much excitement and learning, but it is just the beginning—there is so much more in store!
