The WDS Book Fair was a hit last week! Students enjoyed browsing books and had author visits via Zoom! Ganon, kindergarten and first grade classes were visited by author Lori Degman who read her books on Zoom to the kids. The second and third grades learned about how a graphic novel is created with author Kayla Miller. Students in grades four to seven had the opportunity to hear from Andrew Galitzer, a Jewish comic book author. The students participated in a drawing and comic book workshop. Thank you to the PTA for these wonderful opportunities to explore novels in a different way.
