The third grade scientists at BPY recently completed an invention unit using littleBits, an electronics engineering kit. This experience built logical thinking and a tremendous amount of creative thinking. The third graders have moved from electronic engineers to paleontologists, figuring out things about animals that lived in the past. Last week, they found out if they could outrun a dinosaur, measuring their leg length to figure out which dinosaur to race to make it fair. Tuesday April 5 is the fossil festival and the children can’t wait to bring in fossils that they found outside and around the community.
