This Pesach, an observant Jewish family in Staten Island will find itself on its own, due to the unexpected and sudden loss of their husband and father, Shmuel (Steve) Klein, z”l.
Yitzhak Stern of Hillside, a good friend and former co-worker of the deceased, is leading a GoFundMe effort to raise funds to assist the family in meeting the unexpected costs they’ve encountered.
Stern described Steve, an accountant who worked in finance firms, as “one of the nicest guys I ever knew,” and as “someone you were always happy to see.” Steve died suddenly on March 20, leaving behind a wife and three children in yeshiva. Steve attended the Young Israel of Staten Island and Agudas Shomrei Hadas shuls and was an avid supporter of the local Hatzolah chapter.
