Yavneh Academy middle school students engaged in an exciting and energizing color war last week focusing on themes related to kindness—Achdut (unity), Rachamim (compassion), Ahava (love) and Shalom (peace). The halls were filled with smiling faces and vibrant colors. Students competed in activities such as various sports, Torah panoply, Minute to Win It, and wacky relay races. The judges were blown away by the final presentations by the creative and talented middle school students. Each team presented projects related to their theme including a song, stomp, banner, dvar Torah and kindness message. The teams displayed great teamwork and sportsmanship. Yavneh is very proud of the teams, and kol hakavod to the red team, ahava, for taking the win. Thank you to the administration and deans for an awesome color war.
