The residents of the Jewish Home at Rockleigh are hosting their 12th Annual Mother’s Day Plant and Garden Sale on Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The sale will feature a wide variety of flowers and plants grown in the lush greenhouse on JHR’s premises and at nearby nurseries. It will also feature a beautiful array of handmade crafts lovingly created by the residents, such as decorated bird houses, seasonal cards, trivets, and floral paperweights. Other items will be on sale including ceramic dishes and plates, essential oils and crystals, artwork and photos from local craftspeople and vendors. There will be a Silent Basket Auction in addition to a 50/50 raffle. Refreshments will be available throughout the day and live music has also been scheduled to enhance the party atmosphere! Admission is free and open to all. Proceeds will benefit the Residents’ Fund at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh.
