On Motzei Shabbos, November 23rd, while some people were finalizing their thanksgiving plans, over 200 people came to the Frisch School for the inaugural 3-on-3 Hoops For HASC Tournament. Thirty-two teams, friends and spectators filled the gym and enjoyed a fun night of friendly basketball competition to benefit Camp HASC.
Camp HASC is a unique summer program which provides over 300 children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable camp experience. Camp HASC serves the social, therapeutic, academic, recreational, and medical needs of all its campers with a positive, “person first” approach to care.
The organizer of the event, David Prince, echoed the sentiments of all involved when he told the JLBC, “It was an evening of great ball, lots of fun, and a huge win for Camp HASC.”
Kol Hakavod to all those who participated and planned the event, as well as to the sponsors!
