Lubavitch to Light 9 Foot Menorah In Englewood

Friends of Lubavitch will ignite a public 9-foot menorah erected at Englewood City Hall on the first night of Chanukah, Tuesday December 16th at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will feature Englewood Mayor Frank Huttle III and Bergen County Executive elect James Tedesco lighting the center candle of the Menorah. Following the ceremony, hundreds will dance, sing and eat the night away. In addition a menorah will be lit at Shops at Riverside on December 17th at 6:00 p.m., featuring the children’s choir from Moriah Day School and a magic show. On, Dec. 18th at 6:00pm in Teaneck, Chabad will create a 9 foot menorah made out of toys, that will be lit at a community-wide Chanukah party with a juggler, donuts, latkes, music, chocolate coins and more. The toys will be donated to various organizations. The party will take place at The Teaneck Chabad House, 513 Kenwood Pl in Teaneck.
