JKHA First Graders Receive First Siddurs

Livingston, NJ–This past week, JKHA’s kitah alef students celebrated an important milestone by receiving their very first siddurim. The students performed beautifully at their respective Siddur plays singing and dancing with enthusiasm and zeal. The students became the virtual students in the Tal Am program and incorporated many of the songs that are an integral part of the 1st grade curriculum. In addition, the students sang other songs that helped highlight key aspects of Tefillah. Through narration, song and dance, the children shared their excitement about receiving their siddurim and made their parents, grandparents, and guests very proud. As the students were handed their siddurim, their faces lit up with such joy and enthusiasm. May they continue to have that same excitement each and every time they open their siddurim. Mazal Tov!
