This past Tuesday was a very exhilarating day for the middle school students at RYNJ. The annual spelling bee went virtual. This year, for the first time, the spelling bee was streamed live in all of the middle school classrooms and on the RYNJ school website. Parents and grandparents were able to enjoy and “shep  nachas” in the comfort of their homes and offices. Thanks to the expertise of Rabbi Efrayim Clair, Educational Technologist, this new initiative went off without a hitch. The finalists, 6th grader Esther Feldman and 8th grader Yoni Siegal, competed like pros with the final round going to Yoni spelling the winning word B-I-L-A-T-E-R-A-L.
