Teaneck— With the Fall/Winter End-of-Semester performances just completed—including sold-out performances Evil Dead: The Musical, Clifford Odet’s classic Golden Boy, Scenes & Songs from Little Shop, and The Devil Inside, an early work by Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire—students ages 5 to Adult are gearing up to start rehearsals for a crop of new shows, the titles of which will be announced in the coming week or two and which will performed live on stage in early June.

Back Box Studios, providing collaborative theater workshops and performance for ages 5 to Adult since 2007, begins its spring semester on and throughout the week of January 25th within Temple Emeth at 1666 Windsor Road in Teaneck, NJ 07666. As of this writing, space remains in the Adult Acting Workshop, in Taking The Stage I and II (for our youngest performers), and in the Popular Musical Theater Workshop For Kids. Slots in the Teen Drama Ensemble and in the Teen Musical Theater Ensemble Workshops are by audition only and just about full. Additionally, “early bird” registration has been extended for both Rock Musical Theater Camp 2015, which this summer will be held in residence at The Dwight-Englewood School as part of its Summer Connections/Summer Stage program…and for Drama Camp 2015, which will once again be held in Teaneck.
