Elizabeth—The bell rang at 4:06 at RTMA as students scattered all over the building to change for the big Night Ski Trip. In record time the students prepared themselves and were on the bus ready to take over Tuxedo Ridge Ski Mountain. Upon arrival, hot fresh pizza was waiting and, after a quick dinner, the skiing, boarding, and snow tubing began. Whether the boys were just learning to ski or had been skiing or snowboarding for years, everyone had a great night. The highlight of the night was when Rabbi Parnes, the12th grade rebbe, joined his talmidim for snow tubing and skiing. At the end of the night they davened Maariv and enjoyed hot chocolate and doughnuts before the bus ride home. It was a wonderful night for students to continue to build friendships outside of the classroom.
