SAR JV Boys Basketball beat MTA 33-32 in triple overtime. SAR was down 30-21 in the 4th and went on a furious run, including clutch 3-pointers by Hank Stein and Daniel Wisotsky to tie the game. Regulation ended in a 30-30 tie and that score would remain the same until triple overtime, when Daniel Wisotsky drained 1 of 2 free throws. MTA’s Buchbinder scored to put MTA up 1 and soon thereafter Wisotsky had a coast to coast steal and layup for the final points of the game. Sammy Sokol had two monstrous block shots in the final minute to seal the win. SAR was led by Daniel Wisotsky’s 16 points and Dovie Marcus’ 10 points. Next Stop….. The CHAMPIONSHIP GAME VS Frisch.
