Last week was “A Bug’s Life” week at Gan Yaldenu Tots. Over the past few weeks the kids watched the life cycle of a butterfly. They saw how long it takes for a caterpillar to turn into a butterfly. When the time was right the kids let the butterflies out and watched them fly away in amazement. They made two different bugs––fireflies and dragonflies––using all different kinds of materials. For science day the kids made slime with a bug inside that they got to take home.
