A Handful of Yeshivat Noam’s Most Recent Hires

(Courtesy of Yeshivat Noam) Hana Minzer is joining the Yeshivat Noam as the director of student support services for early childhood students. Previously, Morah Hana worked at The Therapeutic Intervention Program (TIP) in Northern Valley Public Schools for two years and as the learning center coordinator at The Ramaz School for six years. Minzer expressed, “I love the curiosity and energy of young children in their most formative years. I am excited to join Yeshivat Noam which is known for their culture of kindness and compassion.” Morah Hana will work with parents, teachers and students to identify and support Buds and kindergarten students’ educational and social/emotional needs.

Melissa Kirshenbaum is joining the elementary school team as a guidance counselor. Most recently, Morah Melissa worked for The Barnstable Academy for four years as a member of their counseling team. Morah Melissa shared, “Early elementary years are a critical stage where children learn more about themselves and others. My role as a guidance counselor is to help children grow and develop socially and emotionally in an empathic and supportive environment. I will be observing classrooms, collaborating with professionals and parents, creating social opportunities and teaching students about social and emotional skills and tools in fun and exciting ways.” Yeshivat Noam is excited to welcome Morah Melissa to our team.

Dena Small is joining the Yeshivat Noam middle school as a learning specialist. Small shared, “I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I will be working in small groups with students to strengthen reading and writing skills.” Small is a veteran educator with 12 years of experience in the classroom, most recently at the Dream Charter School in New York City. Yeshivat Noam warmly welcomes Dena Small to our middle school faculty.

Yeshivat Noam is excited to welcome this year’s bnot Sherut Leumi Ori Safra, Natalie Tabibi, Liat Deykan and Avital Gispan. These educators will be teaching in classrooms and well as creating and implementing Israel programming throughout the school.
