I do not represent myself as an expert in military strategy or in international political diplomacy; however, my instinct (“knee jerk”) tells me the following:
When engaged in war with an implacable enemy peace can be achieved only when imposed by the victor. “When the rodef comes to kill you- rise up and kill him first!” (Babylonian Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 23A).
With that in mind I believe that Gaza must be subjected to siege. Nothing (except humanitarian essentials) of any benefit or support must be allowed to enter.
Civilians who wish to leave should be assisted and protected. Targeted assassinations of terrorist leadership should be resumed. All known significant military targets must be preemptively and persistently attacked. (Civilians must be warned to abandon proximity to these sites).
Israel must pursue the downfall of the Islamo-fascist regime in Persia (Iran) in conjunction with the Islamic republic’s Sunni (Gulf State) enemies and the United States. Israel must continue to aggressively attack any presence of Iran and Hezbollah military in Syria.
When the Iranian regime falls, its proxies will wither. We must defeat our enemy, not merely try to keep it “quiet.”
The primary responsibility of any government is to protect its citizens. Failing that, it has no legitimate claim to power.
Short of victory, Israel (and worldwide Jewry) will ultimately be destroyed, God forbid!
