I just received a political flyer for someone named Arati Kreibich who is running for Congress in the fifth district against the incumbent, Josh Gottheimer. She is running as a “Real Democrat.” Her flyer gives no reason as to why we should vote for her, what makes her a “Real Democrat” or what her accomplishments may be other than she is an immigrant and a member of the Glen Rock council. I would think that voters in Glen Rock had a paucity of candidates to vote for in putting her in office.

Kreibich proudly features an endorsement from Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, a member of “The Squad” that includes such radicals as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ocasio-Cortez, four who are staunchly anti-Semitic and anti-Israel. And they profess little love or respect for America.

I doubt that she stands much of a chance against Gottheimer, but I think she and her ilk must be sent a message by garnering as low a vote as possible from both liberal and conservative voters. Send a message to her and her kind that bigotry has no place in Bergen County. As a past president of the former New Milford Jewish Center and past board member of the Jewish Community Center of Paramus/Congregation Beth Tikvah, I intend to let as many people as possible know she is endorsed by radical anti-Semites.

And, as a former council president in New Milford, and past member of the Democratic State Committee I will do whatever it takes for her to go down to total defeat as she is not at all representative of my party.
