Frisch sophomores left early on a Thursday morning for Virginia Beach. There they spent a long weekend reconnecting with each other outside the classroom, enjoying a host of fun activities and meaningful learning, and spending a spiritually uplifting Shabbat together. Many faculty members joined them for the weekend, and they were all impressed and inspired by the students’ beautiful display of achdut.
Activities included a drive over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, roller-skating, go-karting, a cruise, kite flying on the beach, a vatikin minyan followed by a trip to Starbucks. Students davened together, engaged in learning sessions and shiurim by faculty members and enjoyed a beautiful kumzsitz on the beach on Saturday night.
