In a thrilling MGBL game, Nina Eizikovitz-Links Residential edged out Keller Williams NYC thanks to some last second heroics from Aryeh Eizikovitz. The six players from Keller Williams NYC overcame a short bench and some first half injuries to close an eight point deficit and tie the game late in the fourth quarter. With less than two minutes to play, Nina Eizikovitz-Links Residential took the lead thanks to a pair of clutch free throws by Jaden Leffel. In the final minute of the game Keller Williams NYC evened the score again when Gavi Greenspan answered with two free throws of his own. The RYNJ gym was filling up with players and parents of completed and not yet started games and the coaches were told that there would be no overtime. With six seconds left on the clock it looked like the game would end in a tie. Coming out of a timeout, Jonathan Brandsdorfer drove the length of the court for Links and heaved up what looked to be the last shot. Fortuitously, Aryeh Eizikovitz was there for the rebound and was able to drain the winning shot as the buzzer sounded.
