(Courtesy of Mike Dube) Three years ago when people thought the world was ending, a group of buddies from Englewood got together to mourn the loss of their friend Yossi Grunberg’s father, Irving Grunberg, z”l and created what is known today as the Grunberg minyan. The founding of this minyan re-energized many of its members and brought them to start learning more, doing more chesed and ultimately, to establishing a regular daily Daf Yomi group.
Pictured is the group this past week marking the end of masecht Sotah in the Daf Yomi cycle. This group, a “band of brothers for life,” as one of their main members likes to say, is looking forward to learning the next masecht, Gittin, altogether and with the same energy and spirit.
