The American Instructional Football League (AIFL) is back at it again – this time hosting their first indoor season. The AIFL 2016 Flag Football Winter League will begin play January 31, at the Superdome in Waldwick, NJ. The Superdome is a state-of-the art sports facility of over 79,000 sq. feet. It has four massive playing fields with the most advanced grass-like synthetic surface. This winter season, the third year of the program, will run for six weeks.
When describing the league, AIFL Executive Director Jeff Boucher said, “Games will be played on Sundays only and will host 16 teams of players in grades K-8. The AIFL exists to create positive self-esteem in children as well as help kids learn the game of football. The AIFL has more than 400 families from Bergen County involved in regular season play. The foundation of their success is the involved parents with the same goals of developing the character of young players.
