More than 400 students from around the U.S. attended the opening general session of the 2014 Winter Saban Leadership Seminar hosted by AIPAC in Washington, D.C. They heard Middle East experts speak about the current state of affairs in that region, and politicos discuss the transition in Congress in the aftermath of the midterm election. They also heard speakers who trained students to be proactive on college campuses and how to strengthen the ties between their campuses and the State of Israel.
Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School students David Needle, Gabriel Zuckerman, and Jacob Nelson were among the students who hoped to gain lobbying skills so that they could effectively advocate for Israel in the future.
