(Courtesy of Aish HaTorah) Aish HaTorah was excited to bring Jerusalem to Teaneck for an inspiring chizuk weekend and reunion. The weekend was a great opportunity for members of the Teaneck community to hear the power of Aish’s Torah wisdom in Jerusalem. Rabbi Nachman Elsant, Miles Kerr-Jarret and Moshe Zeldman, as well as Rabbi Steven Burg, CEO of Aish, and Ariel Kotler, executive director of Aish, joined the community.
The community of Teaneck joined the Aish rebbeim and alumni for a Shabbat filled with uplifting lectures and an eye-opening Aish Discovery Seminar on Sunday taught by veteran Aish Rabbi Moshe Zeldman. Over 250 people attended the Discovery Seminar.
Alumni of the Aish HaTorah yeshiva in Jerusalem were excited to spend quality time with the rebbeim. “It was a great weekend! The Discovery Seminar was incredible. The community was thrilled to hear the seminar and learn how Aish combines science and the Torah to teach the basic truths of Judaism,” said Rabbi Elsant. “The students were so happy to reconnect to Aish, each other, and the wonderful community of Teaneck.”
Rabbi Zeldman expressed how inspired he was by the weekend. “There are so many students who pass through the doors of Aish in Jerusalem, make thoughtful changes to their lives and then move on to career and marriage. This weekend was exciting, inspiring and gratifying to see our students transition and take what they learned at Aish to new heights in their lives and marriages.”
