Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Al Haderech Boys Travel kicked off their week volunteering with Boots for Israel! The boys wrote letters to soldiers fighting for Israel, and packaged them along with the boots they donated. It was an incredibly meaningful way to spend the morning. After that, it was off to Marcade. The boys had a blast trying out a ton of vintage arcade games and playing on the many pinball machines. It was a great way to start off the week! After a break for Tisha B’Av, the boys headed out Wednesday morning for their overnight trip. They started their day exploring the NJ Police Museum, where they learned about law enforcement history and saw some cool exhibits. Then, they headed to Stumpy’s Axe Throwing. The boys mastered their axe throwing skills, and had a great time hitting the targets, as well as trying all of the cool games offered! The day continued with a BBQ dinner, before heading to the League Playoffs. The boys ended their day at the pool, cooling off and enjoying the awesome water slide. Day two of the overnight was spent at Hershey Park. The boys enjoyed a full day of rides, games and sweet treats, taking full advantage of everything the park had to offer. The boys ended off the summer with a trip to NJ Paddle, where the boys had an awesome time paddleboarding and kayaking! After spending their day on the water, they had a banquet on the shore with schnitzel sandwiches and more. The boys ended their day with a surprise stop at 7-Eleven to end the summer!
