Girls Travel kicked off their final week with a trip to mini golf. They had a great time, and some of them even got a hole in one. Then, it was back to camp for a special workshop with Boots for Israel. The girls wrote personal letters to soldiers fighting for Israel, and attached them to the pairs of boots they donated. It was such a special and meaningful way for them to spend their afternoon. After breaking for Tisha B’Av, the girls headed out on their second and final overnight of the summer! The girls started with a trip to Gray Towers to tour the beautiful mansion and surrounding gardens. They had a great time seeing the estate and taking in the beautiful views. Then, it was off to Tobyhanna state park, where they had a blast boating on the water, and enjoying the beautiful weather! The day ended off with a surprise bowling trip. The girls had so much fun bowling in their pajamas. Day two of the fun-filled overnight was spent at Dorney Park, where thrills and excitement awaited! The girls had so much fun on all of the rides and attractions. From roller coasters to water rides, carousels to swings, carnival games and more, the girls ended off their final overnight of the summer with an amazing day. Girls Travel spent their final day of the summer at Urban Air. They had a great time enjoying all of the awesome activities, especially the trampoline park. Then it was time for the end-of-summer banquet. The girls had an amazing time reminiscing about their favorite camp moments and wrote down each other’s contact information to stay in touch.
