Daniel Freud, director of business operations at All Star Building Maintenance, is dedicated to perpetuating the legacy that his father worked so hard to accomplish starting back in 1998. He has been leading the company for 10 years now, adding his own unique talents to drive their success and expand the services.
One of his favorite roles in the business is in his relationships with customers. He related, “I like meeting new people, learning what they’re all about, and what can we can do that can potentially help clients, especially in building lasting business and family relationships with them. In addition to the intensive training he did under the mentorship of his father, Freud has also engaged in extensive professional training. But from his father’s perspective, he’s been a natural for a very long time.
Freud shared this story: “I was in high school selling a raffle ticket one night on behalf of my yeshiva. My father overheard me selling to one of the ‘bal habatim’ and thought Hashem had blessed me with a talent in knowing how to speak with people. He also observed me selling raffle tickets to some strangers in the community and in other towns, and thought maybe I would be talented in this industry.”
So you can imagine that one of Freud’s favorite parts of his business relationships is negotiating services for a customer with pricing that everyone can live with, and closing the negotiations having made a new friend.
