Alzheimer’s Disease Will Be Discussed at The Lavy House in Westfield

An informational program on “Alzheimer’s Disease: Warning Signs and Prevention” for seniors and their families will take place on Tuesday, February 28, 11:30 a.m. at The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House, 748 E. Broad Street, Westfield, NJ. The program will be presented by Alice Greenberg-Sheedy, LSW. Ms. Greenberg-Sheedy, a licensed social worker and certified dementia practitioner, is coordinator of all programs and services related to dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease. A light lunch will be served.

The Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House is a joint venture between The Westfield United Fund and Temple Emanu-El of Westfield. Through a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ provides programming and the services of Social Worker Naomi Kreutzer, LCSW, each Tuesday. Programs are free of charge and open to the entire community.
