Younger students engage in interactive activities focused on letter sounds like juicing lemons for letter “L.” As their phonemic awareness and motor skills progress, students further reinforce their learning by shaping letters with Play-Doh, exploring with rice, writing in sand and incorporating stretching exercises to shape themselves into a letter.
