On Thursday, Anshei Lubavitch Preschool celebrated its 100th day of school. The preschool classes have been counting since the very first day of school and celebrated this milestone with 100 Days of School parties and activities. The preschoolers explored the concept of the number 100 in different activities throughout the day. Daled classes used the day to introduce the idea of place value and grouping. Morah Leah’s gimmel class brought imaginative play into their celebrations by dressing up as 100 year olds. Students in each class brought in one hundred objects which they pasted on a large number 100, placed in numbered boxes or sorted and counted.
