Anshei Lubavitch Preschoolers Welcome Winter

As the weather turned colder, the students at Anshei Lubavitch Preschool warmed things up by celebrating the first few snows of the season in their classroom. Aleph classes painted on ice while exploring the different sensory aspects of winter. Bet classes learned about the properties of water by leaving a cup of water outside and bringing it back in after it froze. Gimmel classes welcomed winter with a White Day Party where students had a chance to ice skate in socks and have a cotton ball snowball fight.

Using a mixture of baking soda and conditioner, preschoolers created sensory snow that they used to build snowmen. Using snow from outside, students had a chance to watch as snow melted into water. Daled classes welcomed winter by creating beautiful snowscapes from memory that they used to decorate their hallway.
