(JNS) Argentinian President Javier Milei announced on Wednesday, June 11 that Argentina will move its embassy to Jerusalem next year.

The Argentine leader who had long pledged to relocate the embassy to Israel’s capital made the remarks in a keynote address to the Knesset in Jerusalem during an official state visit.

Milei, who is on his second visit to Israel in as many years and has emerged as one of Israel’s most vocal supporters around the globe, was received with a standing ovation from across the political aisle.
