Armed Robbers Steal Oxycodone From Alvin’s Pharmacy

Teaneck Chief of Police Robert A. Carney announced that an investigation is being conducted into an armed robbery of a pharmacy in the Township of Teaneck. On Sunday, December 20, 2015, at 10:40 AM, two males entered Alvin’s Pharmacy, located at 115 Cedar Lane, and robbed the store of 20 to 30 bottles of Oxycodone and two to three bottles of cough syrup. One of them brandished a silver handgun while the other went behind the pharmacy counter to steal the bottles. Both men had bandanas partially covering their faces. After committing the robbery, they left the store and fled on foot, westbound on Cedar Lane.

The first alleged perpetrator, who possessed the handgun, was described as a dark complexioned black male, 25-30 years of age, 5’9” tall and weighing over 200 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, boots, a black leather jacket, and a hooded sweatshirt. The second individual was described as a dark complexioned black male, 25-30 years of age, 6’ tall and weighing over 200 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket with a hood, a red shirt, and camouflage pants.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing and anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact the Teaneck Police Department at (201)837-2600.
