Fifth graders at Yeshivat He’Atid learned all about “The Scream” by Edvard Munch. They spent a long time discussing this art piece, learning about the brush strokes, the details and colors. Students also thought about the meaning behind the artwork. They then used oil pastels and a photo of themselves to create their own version of this piece. Thank you to art teacher extraordinaire Jen Lipstein for bringing this fun and profound learning experience to the middle schoolers!
