Knowledge is power, but enthusiasm pulls the switch. Take a peek at the junior high of Bruriah and one will immediately sense the positive energy of girls who are passionate and engaged learners. Student inquiry, project-based learning, and collaboration help develop crucial skills and build self-esteem. When asked how they feel about collaborative learning, Naomi Kraemer, 8th grader, stated that she likes to hear the perspectives of others as they are often diverse. Atarah Mandel, another 8th grader, commented, “When you experience something, it sticks in your mind.”
