Livingston—Simcha permeated the walls and halls of JKHA last Thursday, as students and faculty celebrated Rosh Chodesh with a Chagiga, complete with music, dancing, and a juggling, funny clown. Students learned that when celebrating, they also must think about how they can help those who may not be as happy as they are. How can they bring simcha, or happiness, into the lives of children who are not healthy? One way is by giving tzedakah to an organization like Chai-Lifeline, which provides simcha for these children.
JKHA’s Torah learning, in preparation for Purim, is in honor, and for the merit, of the speedy recovery of the children of Chai Lifeline.
