(Courtesy of PTI) No one in the Jewish world can see Oct. 7 the same way again. It was a tragic wakeup call for many. But it sparked a flame of unity and Jewish commitment around the globe. The common thread the worldwide Jewish community has to remember Oct. 7 is to add meaning to the day, to bond with each other and Hashem as members of the Jewish people.

In the Passaic-Clifton area, women will have a chance to hear a powerhouse speaker, Rebbetzin Debbie Greenblatt, speak on “What Does Teshuva Mean in the Life of a Busy Jewish Woman? I Am Already Doing Everything I Can!” This inspiring talk a few days after Rosh Hashanah will be at 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 at the Buchler residence, 141 Blvd. in Passaic. There is a $15 suggested donation and sponsorship opportunities are available.

Greenblatt has been a popular speaker and columnist for over 30 years. She speaks across the country on issues that Jewish women are talking about and perhaps needing some clarity and guidance. She is also one of the founders of the world-renowned Gateways kiruv organization.

Debbie Greenblatt’s pearls of wisdom.

Readers will recognize Greenblatt’s name from articles in Family First and Jewish Action and from her many popular classes on Torah Anytime. Greenblatt is also a noted expert on relationships and published her own take on this in the book, “Secrets of a Connected Marriage.”

This Oct. 7 event for women is part of the Ateres Bracha Neve PTI program, which provides engaging Torah learning programs for women across the tristate area. PTI has classes for men and women of all ages, seven days and evenings a week, featuring five levels of learning, from the complete novice with no background to the advanced kollel fellow.
