Rebecca Barkai, a native of New England; a place that is known for the glorious foliage during the spring and fall has now lived in the NY/NJ area for more than half her life. She currently resides in Teaneck NJ with her family for the last 15+ years. Nature and photography are two of her great passions. Recently, she had an exhibition of her nature photography at the Teaneck Public Library during the month of August. She also writes a nature blog called “Nature in Bergen and Beyond” where she blogs about the many different arboretums, parks and other nature places she has visited to share with others. Additionally, she has a gallery of her pictures on a website and app called Twenty20- a site that has contests of which she has received over 95 honors and achievements.
