In honor of Parshat Vayera, Avraham and Sarah joined BPY’s early childhood’s Kabbalat Shabbat. The children got to be guests in their tent allowing Avraham and Sarah to do their favorite mitzvah of hachnasat orchim. The children also got to perform the mitzvah of bikur cholim by visiting Avraham while he was recovering. Sarah whipped up a batch of her delicious cookies while Avraham told a beautiful Shabbat story. Together they all made brachot and sang beautiful Shabbat songs. Some of the children even thought that there was an uncanny resemblance to Rabbi Zucker and Morah Jessica who were nowhere to be found.
