(Courtesy of YU) Hot off the press for Passover 5783/2023, the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration is pleased to announce the latest edition of its highly anticipated Haggadah Companion, “On This Night We Are All Teachers.”

A big hit with children and adults in previous years, this latest edition offers creative and innovative activities such as a poetry slam and a talk-show style interview to make the seder a more interactive, inspiring and enriching experience. Specific activities have been created for preschool and elementary school children as well as tweens and teens.

Azrieli faculty, alumni and current graduate students contributed their expertise to create “On This Night We Are All Teachers.” Teaching tips are included throughout to assist parents during the seder.

“With this Haggadah Companion, we are helping people teach and honor our shared story at the seder,” said Dr. Rona Novick, dean of Azrieli. “Our faculty are experts in highly effective and innovative educational techniques, and along with our talented graduate students, they have designed the Companion to make the seder a rich and meaningful experience for learners of all ages.”

The latest edition is generously sponsored by Sharon and David Rauch of Teaneck, New Jersey, and beautifully illustrated by the highly acclaimed illustrator and author Ann D. Koffsky.

In her introduction to the edition, Dr. Novick writes, “I am surrounded by Jewish educational professionals dedicated to continuing our Jewish story and to ensuring that b’chol dor v’dor, in every generation, the glorious redemption of Pesach, the enduring love of Hashem for the Jewish people, and the blessings of freedom, will be celebrated around seder tables and well beyond.”
