Bruriah was so excited to welcome new and returning students to school on Wednesday. The rain outside was no match for the ruach and positivity that permeated the building. After the administration and faculty spent a productive summer of curriculum planning, student programming and facility improvements—including the renovated resource room and soon-to-be-inaugurated student lounge—Bruriah students have a lot to be excited about this year.

Upon their arrival at school, students were treated to a delicious breakfast following davening, and then each grade was given a chance to meet with their grade advisors who will be there to guide them academically, socially and emotionally throughout the year. The highlight of the morning was no doubt the incredible, glow-in-the-dark roller skating that each grade got to enjoy right in the Bruriah gym!

“We can all feel the joyous energy in the halls of Bruriah as our students reconnect with one another and get back into the spirit of school,” says Principal Esther Eisenman. “Our students are primed for a year of growth and development and we are thankful to be a part of that journey with them.”
