BCFL Gets Ready for Championship Sunday

Zachary San Solo, William Berg, Ari Frommer and Zachary Hoffman of the La Cucina Di Nava 49ers.

(BCFL) This past Sunday kicked off the playoffs to crown the Bergen County Flag Football League fall 2023 champions. Thirty eight talented teams competed in 22 exciting games. The games were fast paced and competitive, with several upsets, most notably in the La Cucina Di Nava division, as the top three teams were sent home. When the dust cleared, four teams remained in each division. Thank you to the volunteer coaches, amazing fans and, most importantly, the boys who left it all on the field.

The remaining teams will continue on in the semifinals and championship games on December third. The teams that were eliminated will be invited to send representatives to the first BCFL Bowl on December 3, as well. In another first for this season, the volunteer coaches of the Chopstix division received gift cards from Chopstix as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The coaches in The Humble Toast, La Cucina Di Nava and Burger Boss divisions will be receiving their gift cards via email.
