On Monday, Stamford’s Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut kicked off its שבוע פורים/Purim Week festivities with an incredible carnival put together by the BCHA banot, Yiska and Hila, and Morah Maytal Lerner. The theme was Kibbutz/Farmer Day and the carnival was not just fun and games, but also a moving and meaningful educational experience paying tribute to the kibbutzim of the south of Israel. Each activity was filled with Hebrew and educational content—a truly creative and unique experience for the students. Special thanks to the BCHA seventh graders for staffing the booths and prize tables with enthusiasm and school ruach (spirit).
