On Sunday morning, Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy hosted its lower school Open House and to say it was a huge hit would be an understatement. A standing room only crowd enjoyed some doughnuts, muffins, coffee and tea while listening to a few words from Director of Admissions Bonnie Marcus, Head of Judaic Studies Rabbi Joshua Rosenfeld, Head of School Rabbi Tzvi Bernstein, Director of Early Childhood Nicole Makovsky and former alum and current BCHA parent Greg Waldstreicher. From there, families traveled throughout the school to see what BCHA has to offer. Arts and crafts were explored throughout the early childhood area and a physical education parachute activity took place outside. Children had the chance to bake cookies and explore all the fun and excitement that takes place every day in the classrooms, and much more. Afterwards, everybody met back in the cafe for lunch and a chance to mingle.
