Rabbi Tzvi Bernstein, head of school at Stamford’s Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut, had the pleasure of joining the pre-k, kindergarten and first grade classes to share with them the sounds and themes of the shofar. It was very impressive how many children already knew about this central mitzvah of the holiday and Rosh Hashanah in general.
