Fred Nagler, Principal/Director of the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies recently attended the NAACCHHS (North American Association of Community and Congregational Hebrew High Schools) Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
The focus of the conference was on understanding today’s Jewish teens. David Bryfman of the Jewish Education Project led the discussion and made suggestions on how to enhance schools’ programs. Other sessions included “Managing Teen Stress,” “Preparing Students for College,” “Mussar for Teens” and learning about online courses for Jewish teens.
