This past weekend, students at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies had an amazing shabbaton at The Ramada Plaza in Monroe Township. The weekend began with candle lighting followed by icebreakers so students could get to know each other better. The theme of the shabbaton was “Choices” with various study sessions on the theme throughout the weekend. Divrei Torah were delivered by four different students. There were many fun activities, lots and lots of food, services, stargazing for the graduating seniors and an unforgettable lip sync battle.
