BCHSJS Teens Kick Off New Semester

When Jewish youth explore their Jewish culture and values and are encouraged to challenge themselves and others, they begin a lifetime of belonging. The students at BCHSJS (the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies), a supplementary Sunday school program, will begin a new semester on Sunday, February 21st. Students from all over northern New Jersey from all religious backgrounds will participate in classes and social experiences with one goal: lifelong connections.

Choice is a central component in our program. Students have a variety of courses from which to choose. This semester we have a Jewish-infused improv class, a music course examining pop artists, a class on Jewish environmentalism and more. We also have an online cohort with dedicated courses for online learners with time to create community and connections. To learn more and to see all of the courses offered this semester visit: www.bchsjs.org
