A group of Young Leadership students from both Nahariya, Israel, and the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies visited NYC. The trip was part of a week-long visit by the Israeli delegation with their New Jersey counterparts. Both groups have been taking a year-long leadership course, the Israelis in Nahariya and the Americans at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies. The NYC visit included a meeting with Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, along with a tour of the UN by advisors of the Permanent Mission of Israel to the UN and a presentation on how to combat the BDS movement on college campuses by StandWithUs. The students had free time at Rockefeller Center and Times Square, and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mr. Broadway.
